You never exactly know what you'll get with a pinhole exposure, but you are certain it will be a point-of-view (in space and time) that your eyes or a lens camera can scarcely capture. Results can be otherworldly, filled with alien light forms, painterly blurs, and ghosts while retaining very long depths of focus on all that is still. My primary pinhole camera is Stella, a beauty born from an empty iPhone 3GS box and capable of shooting 120 and 35mm film, but best with 120. These ten here are Stella's. Exposure times range from 15 seconds to 30 minutes. Large prints of "Tornado Tower" has been in two juried exhibitions in Louisville, Kentucky and Middlebury, Vermont.
